I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. During my final two years there, I served as Shelter Manager for a completely student-run campus cat shelter, where I also led the Trap-Neuter-Return program, hands-on work that went well beyond the classroom.
I jumped straight into the field after graduation, starting at a local emergency animal hospital as a veterinary assistant the very same month. I've since expanded my role, joining a mobile veterinary cardiology practice where I serve as head technician, and I'm currently pursuing a degree in cardiac sonography.
As a Santa Cruz local, born and raised in Watsonville, I have a deep love for this community and the people and pets in it. With years of hands-on experience caring for animals in high-stakes environments, I bring that same attentiveness and love to every pet I sit for. As a student, I have the flexibility to be present and focused on your furry family members while I study, giving you peace of mind that they're in experienced, caring hands.
